Magical Earth Retreats (501(c)3) offers summer day camps for area children. We connect campers with nature through exercise, art, crafts, journal writing, science and math. Our camps are run entirely outside. It is our hope that campers go away from our program with a understanding of how nature nurtures creativity.The purpose of this letter is to provide scholarships to local children who otherwise would not be able to afford to attend our summer camps.

Would your company like to be part of this amazing opportunity to help a Windham county child to have a fantastic five day day-camp experience? Our regular pricing for a week-long camp is $225, but we offer a sponsorship rate of only $175.

This sponsorship will allow us to include your company logo on our web site and be mentioned in our marketing and publicity pieces.

After the camp you will receive a picture of your sponsored child during camp along with a certificate.

Scholarship Spotlight:

In 2014 we awarded a scholarship to A. (name withheld) for the first week of camp. His single Mother struggles to enable A and his sibling to have some of the more expensive extras in life. An extremely intelligent young person, A’s life is complicated by autism. He enjoyed the first week of camp and he wanted to come back. Magical Earth Retreats invited him back for a second week and plan to invite him for 2015 through our Scholarship Program. The program helps with social skills as well as expending physical energy running and playing in the woods. Most significantly, A has a lot of fun with the other children at camp!
